ViewSonic boosts channel

ViewSonic has appointed Almasa IT in a bid to boost expansion in its Middle East sales channel, says Albawaba.

The Almasa appointment is expected to further support ViewSonic's growth plans across the region, including Saudi Arabia and the UAE, according to the company's Middle East and Africa regional director, Aaron Fright.

"The Middle East LCD market, in percentage terms, is one of the fastest-growing in the world, and we believe will likely continue to be so for the foreseeable future," said Fright.

NTP teams up with Arrow

NTP Software, an ISV with more than 10 years under its belt, has scrapped its old channel programme and teamed up with Arrow Electronic's Enterprise Computing Solutions division to bring its products to North American , reports CRN.

Arrow will distribute NTP's storage firewall products designed to monitor and control which information is able to flow in and out of a storage environment.

The software works with Network Applications storage products and allows end-users to learn about a company's storage and manage their own stored files by alerting them to duplicates, and large and old files.

Wavetrend, Tech Data partner

Wavetrend, a supplier of Active RFID solutions, has partnered with Tech Data Corporation, giving Tech Data distribution rights to its portfolio of Active RFID products in the United States, its territories and possessions; Mexico; and Canada, says eChannelline.

The distribution agreement will help Wavetrend meet the increasing demand for its Active RFID products within this territory.

The partnership will leverage Wavetrend's more than 2 500 worldwide customer installations and Tech Data's network of reseller customers, and will offer the company the opportunity to expand into new markets and new application areas.
