PIC Solutions has been awarded the research and delivery of a comprehensive manual on Credit Bureau Benefits and Best Practices for Visa International.
PIC consultants will prepare a report outlining the structure, benefits and evolution of Credit Bureaux. Some of the topics included are legal issues, infrastructure challenges, data requirements, benefits and timeframes for implementation for the Visa member banks.
This assignment follows on from the successful Visa credit risk best practices initiative that was completed by PIC in 2001.
Stuart Clayton, Head of Credit & Co-branding Products, states: "The greatest barrier to Visa credit card issuance in the CEMEA region is, understandably, the banks` fear of risk. This manual is an excellent means of building knowledge and confidence, and PIC were ideally placed to complete this assignment after the success of the seminars that they have previously delivered."
