PIC Solutions has been chosen to project manage a training and consulting assignment with Visa International CEMEA. Over a three-month period, a team of PIC consultants will complete training materials and conduct training seminars for Visa International member banks in Eastern Europe.
The seminars will focus on Credit Risk Best Practices and are tailored to be specifically applicable to the Central and Eastern European marketplace. These training sessions follow-on from the successful seminars that were held in the Arabian Gulf and cover the entire credit card lifecycle, from account origination to profitable ongoing account management.
Visa International is sponsoring these training sessions for its member banks in the CEMEA region and over 100 attendees are expected from banks in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Romania. The seminars will be held in Warsaw and Budapest, both of which have sophisticated banking infrastructures.
Stuart Clayton, Head of Credit and Co-branding Products at Visa International CEMEA states: "The greatest barrier to Visa credit card issuance in Central and Eastern Europe is the banks` fear of risk. The seminars are an excellent means of building knowledge and confidence and PIC were ideally placed to do this training after the success of the Middle East seminars."
