Idion Technology Holdings` US subsidiary, Vision Solutions, has released a new version of its Vision Suite continuous availability solution.
The company has added a significant amount of functionality to the product to release Vision Suite Enterprise Edition.
It says the new name for Vision Suite better represents the true nature of the product as an enterprise-wide solution supporting the latest advancements in continuous availability.
The new edition has more than 60 new features. Enhancements include increasing the availability of a user`s data and freeing up disk space; allowing for improved synchronisation of data; ensuring 99.999% application and information resiliency; and greater control and convenience provided by a utility called Command Center for Vision Suite.
Command Center for Vision Suite manages high availability via a singular graphical user interface across all operating platforms, and Vision says it will be a standard part of Vision Suite Enterprise edition in the near future.
Vision Solutions has also announced the launch of a new product offering called Vision Suite ClusterAdvantage Program.
ClusterAdvantage Program is billed as a services-rich offering providing powerful and effective software, consulting services and educational programs to make an enterprise continuously available.
