Vision Solutions partners with Managed ASP to offer customers hosted alternative
IDION`s US subsidiary Vision Solutions, an information availability management company and IBM Premier Business Partner, has launched a partnership with Managed ASP, an IBM e-Sourcing company.
Managed ASP`s managed services use Vision Solutions` Vision Suite software to provide end-to-end high availability hosting services for applications running on the IBM eServer iSeries platform.
Managed ASP works with Vision Solutions` sales force and North American Vision Industry Partners (VIPs) to offer existing and potential customers the option of outsourcing their high availability infrastructure and services. This option allows customers to enjoy the benefits of a high availability solution without making demands on capital, time or personnel. Vision Solutions will extend the relationship to include its international VIPs at a later date.
Managed ASP`s service offering, ECHO High Availability (HA), features Vision Solutions` award-winning Vision Suite software.
Managed ASP`s high availability hosting offerings include:
* ECHO HA 1: Complete managed high availability environment. With Vision Solutions and its VIPs, Managed ASP provides installation services and a complete managed environment that includes server, software, tape device, network, communications and operational services for a monthly fee.
* ECHO HA 2: High availability server environment. For a monthly fee, a current Vision Solutions customer or customer consolidating servers can use Managed ASP to host the high availability server environment at its Class A data centres.
* ECHO HA 3: High availability co-location. Managed ASP allows customers to source customer-owned servers in its Class A data centres. The customer can choose to manage the communications between source and target or Managed ASP can also provide these services.
