IDION Technology Holdings` subsidiary Vision Solutions, a leading managed availability solutions provider, yesterday announced the appointment of Suzi Shaw Lyons as Regional Director of Asia Pacific.
Shaw Lyons has more than 24 years of experience in sales, marketing, engineering and programming for IBM and iSeries based companies with more than eight of those years managing sales and partners in the Asia Pacific region.

Shaw Lyons began her career at IBM where she worked for more than 20 years in increasingly responsible positions, concluding her IBM career as Global AS/400 CRM Segment Executive and Siebel Alliance Executive for IBM eServer Group. For more than six years, Shaw Lyons served as APAC Manager of IBM`s AS/400 Partners in Development Programme where she recruited partners and managed relationships with more than 150 partners including ISVs, resellers and strategic accounts. She also served in the capacity of Program Manager for Client Server Tools in Asia Pacific, carrying responsibility for developing the new market for AS/400 Client/Server solutions and application development tools. Shaw Lyons has led multinational account teams and served as head of the Asia Pacific AS/400 Strategic Accounts Forum.
She has the proven ability to develop and enhance strong business partner and customer relationships and possesses extensive knowledge of on-demand solutions and strategies. She was a frequent speaker at IBM, customer and business partner events.
Prior to joining Vision Solutions, Shaw Lyons served as Sales Practice Leader for Infinity Solutions, Inc, a 400-person Solutions Integrator where she was responsible for sales to large customers and managing Infinity`s relationship with IBM.
