Coverage in the Caribbean include the Cayman Islands, Guadalupe, Jamaica, Montserrat, Anguilla, St Kitts & Nevis, St Martin, Domenica, Barbuda, St Lucia, Antigua, Martinique, St Vincent & Grenada and The Grenadines. According to Mthobi Tyamzashe, Vodacom`s Chief Communications Officer, "The existing roaming coverage list includes access to GSM across 153 countries and 300 networks. As from yesterday, GPRS coverage now includes Switzerland and that brings GPRS roaming coverage to 47 networks in 31 countries. Prepaid and 3G coverage are growing steadily".

Vodacom offers customers international GPRS roaming in the following countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil (Centro Sul, Rio Norte, Sao Paulo), Canada, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jersey, Malta, Mauritius, Netherlands, New Zealand, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, Turkey, the UK and the USA.

International roaming allows its users to stay in touch wherever they are without the nuisance of trying to work out foreign phone systems and codes or paying exorbitant hotel prices.
