Vodacom kiosks for SA tourists
In a bid to meet the tourist and mobile communication needs of local and international fans “before and during major events taking place in SA”, Vodacom is unveiling a series of specialist kiosks, the company stated, reports BizCommunity.
The kiosks will show off the best of SA and provide a crucial focal point of information for visitors, helping to grow the country's reputation as friendly and world-class destination.
Thousands of local and international visitors will be able to access information on various major tournaments currently taking place on SA shores.
Yahoo unveils self-service ad product
Yahoo is bidding to win over local advertisers that may have never tried display with a new self-service ad product called My Display Ads, says MediaPost.
"This just opens up access to small advertisers, which we think is important to the overall market," said Yahoo Sales senior VP Joanne Bradford.
One of the chief goals of My Display Ads is to convert search advertisers to display.
