RightFAX Small Business Server 7.0 is designed to work independently and is a full-featured, e-document delivery system ideal for small to medium enterprise or remote departments of large enterprise for 50 users or less.
When asked what does this mean for the channel, Robyn Grobbelaar, Voicematix Sales Director replied, "Previously, RightFAX suite of products were aimed at large enterprise. Now with RightFAX SBS, our Business Partners can target SME accounts (which account for over 50% of SA`s IT expenditure) and open up new lucrative revenue streams."
Smaller organisations can now take full advantage of a wide range of network faxing technology options that was previously aimed at larger organisations. This includes creating, sending, and receiving documents directly from desktop applications using the FaxUtil client interface, or from Lotus cc:Mail, Microsoft Mail, Novell GroupWise, and popular SMTP-compliant e-mail packages. Also, the RightFAX Small Business Server can be purchased as a bundle with either the RightFAX Gateway for Microsoft Exchange or the RightFAX Gateway for Lotus Notes from one of the Voicematix Business Partners.
Kevin Hurwitz, Chief Operating Officer at Voicematix says, "with over 1.35 billion people having access to fax coupled with the fact that on a daily basis, more faxes are sent than e-mails in addition to fax transmissions growing at a rate of 22% per annum, fax continues to be a critical component in e-document delivery and communication strategies."
Hurwitz continues, "The continued success of fax rests on the ability to create and send faxes directly from your desktop using a wide range of basic applications that preserve the format of the original documents including page layout, font information, embedded graphics, and diacritical characters."
The RightFAX Small Business Server is licensed on a per-user basis, which provides a more cost-effective initial investment. As the number of users increases, the Small Business Server provides the flexibility to upgrade to a RightFAX Business Server or RightFAX Enterprise Server, allowing the customer to extend and upgrade the system to meet all the document delivery requirements of any growing business.
Grobbelaar concludes, "RightFAX SBS has had phenomenal success overseas with the specific vertical sectors which include Medical Practices, Legal Firms, Business Consultant Practices, PR companies, Advertising Agencies, Direct Mail Companies, E-Commerce Admin Departments and Remote Offices/Departments of large companies."
