Vox Amvia offers world first faxing solution to Pastel

Johannesburg, 11 Dec 2009

Corporate fax leader Vox Amvia is set to roll out the first hosted production fax solution in the accounting market. The RightFax enabled system will be available to the entire Pastel South African customer base, making corporate faxing technology accessible to SMEs for the first time.

The hosted solution integrates with Pastels ERP software, providing access to an automated desktop faxing solution. As the official supplier of RightFax to the South African market, Vox Amvia is able to offer an audited trail on all faxes going in and out of the business.

“No more having to print out statements/invoices and distribute them from the communal fax machine, everything can now be automated and sent directly from your accounting solution,” says Craig Freer, MD of Vox Amvia.

“Our customers deal with confidential documents on a daily basis and require a safe and secure faxing provider to ensure corporate compliance. With a number of privacy Acts coming into effect, having access to auditable faxing is business critical,” says Daryl Blundell, Sales Director for Pastel South Africa.

“There is also the cost-saving element, no more fax machines, maintenance costs, replacing paper or toner, it is all done via the cloud now,” adds Blundell.

Vox Amvia MD Craig Freer says that up until now the SME market in South Africa has not been able to take advantage of audited desktop faxing, but with integration through Pastel's software, their clients will now be able to make use of a hosted pay per usage model. “This will provide them with access to technology, which up until now has only really been available to corporates.”

Freer believes that hosted production faxing is the way forward for SMEs. “The model that we have created with Pastel is definitely replicable and we would like to roll it out to the rest of the global group in the future.”
