VPN deployment in the enterprise and healthcare industries will be highlighted at The Internet Security Conference (TISC) (http://tisc.corecom.com), the technical event addressing the issues of safeguarding enterprise Internet connections, to be held in California from 24 to 28 April.
"Virtual private networks as they are deployed in healthcare and enterprise-wide environments will be a major focus for TISC,`` notes Dave Piscitello, president of Core Competence and TISC founder.
"Everyone expects VPNs to be the glorious ultimate security solution, but building VPNs has been challenging, and remains so. TISC will examine VPN case studies from people who have designed and built some of the largest VPN-based networks to date.
