Vula Communications MD suspended

VULA Communications MD Mark Headbush was suspended yesterday by the board of directors with immediate effect pending the outcome of an inquiry, reports Business Day.

Headbush has alleged that there is a "plot" against Vula Communications by people and organisations who "do not want the company to succeed".

Vula Communications Holdings was recently awarded a grant of more than $360 000 by the United States government to help it arrange finance for participation in Ellipso, the billion-dollar satellite telephone venture.
