Software company AXS-One has adopted a new black economic empowerment (BEE) channel partner, Vula Technologies, to distribute its supply chain management software in SA.
Vula Technologies now becomes the company`s second channel partner along with AXS-One African solutions.
AXS-One MD Al Clegg says the partnership is part of AXS-One`s strategy to grow the company organically.
"AXS-One African Solutions has matured into a fully-fledged BEE company with its own profile, set of skills and clients. We therefore felt it was time to join with the next up and coming BEE company to grow the business further, hence the partnership with Vula Technologies."
Clegg says Vula Technologies will partner AXS-One as a reseller while also being a third-party service provider.
"AXS-One therefore becomes the product marketer and managing company, giving clients the choice of three companies to get the best service," Clegg says.
AXS-One says Vula Technologies was selected for its credibility in the market and the fact that it is completely BEE-driven.
Clegg says that as with AXS-One African Solutions, a training academy will be set up with Vula Technologies.
"We have set up training academies not only to fulfil a social responsibility, but to fill the skills gap. Vula Technologies will therefore also have an academy to provide home-grown consultants to build its own resources," Clegg says.
AXS-One provides financial, e-financial and Web-based self-service solutions, particularly to SA financial service providers and government.
