WAM Systems has partnered with Ortems SAS to deliver an expanded solution set for advanced supply chain planning and optimisation.
Exclusive local representative, Rifle-Shot Performance Holdings, says the combined solution merges detailed scheduling with advanced planning, forecasting and visibility to bring a new level of functionality to an industry seeking the benefits of optimised global operations.
“Adding WAM's advanced optimisation and visibility to our detailed scheduling allows our customers to extend the global view of their operations and achieve greater efficiency in the use of their assets, which can translate to significant cost savings,” says Ren'e Desvignes, CEO of Ortems.
The companies deliver supply chain planning and scheduling functionality to a number of industries, including chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, refining, and consumer packaged goods (CPG), according to Rifle-Shot Performance Holdings.
“Since first introducing our joint solution, the response has been extremely positive. Companies in the chemical, pharmaceutical and CPG industries are quickly seeing the advantages of the advanced global visibility and scheduling power that our expanded offering provides,” explains Jack Weiss, CEO and founder of WAM Systems.
“Companies that undertake the process of implementing supply chain planning solutions such as the hybrid offering often begin with an internal analysis to determine how their existing business processes and tools compare to that of industry leaders and what steps would be necessary to improve operations,” states Ian Huntly, CEO and MD of Rifle-Shot Performance Holdings.
“In support of this trend, WAM Systems and Ortems are offering a supply chain benchmarking initiative which affords companies a detailed comparison of their existing process and technology landscape to best-practices workflow and best-of-breed solutions,” states Huntly.
