Want to learn all about IT?

Johannesburg, 23 Apr 2001

"The B2B AllAbout IT & Telecoms Handbook", a WriteStuff Publishing product, has been released. Described as a comprehensive "what to know, where to go" IT and related industries publication, its target audience is non-technical professionals needing to make sense of and become proficient in these industries.

"This publication will no doubt become an exceptionally useful reference tool," says Adele Singer Levin, managing editor of WriteStuff Publishing. "This indispensable desktop resource will help ordinary business people in sourcing information about e-commerce, computers and computing, telecommunications, recruitment and training and mobile technology, as well as suppliers of these services."

Each chapter is broken down into a brief history, sector overview, key issues and future developments, specialist opinions, and advice and ideas. A resource directory at the end of each chapter provides lists of suppliers, associations, publications, exhibitions and conferences, and useful Web sites.

Editorial contributors include Arthur Goldstuck of Media Africa.com; Heike Beisiegel, editor of the Times; Darren Smith of publication eSecure; Leon Jacobs, writer for the Microsoft SA Web site; and Alicia Woolf, writer of the South African editions of the IDG ...For Dummies series.

The publication will be distributed via controlled circulation to various SACOB chambers, corporates and at the upcoming Computer Faire. It is also available in bookshops and selected outlets.

Also in the WriteStuff collection is the South Africa Business Guidebook, an A to Z business handbook with an investment focus, and Direct Access, the conference handbook.
