Watson Marlow Bredel appoints SIS as technology partner

Watson Marlow Bredel is the world's largest manufacturer of pumps. The company has, through selective acquisition, innovative product development, and geographical expansion, grown rapidly.

When Watson Marlow recently opened a South African operation, it awarded the provision of a turnkey solution to SIS. The solution saw SIS source, supply, support and project manage the company's IT requirements from the ground up.

SIS supplied all the hardware needed for the desktop and network environment, server and desktop software, and line of business applications. An integrated payroll and HR suite was also implemented to provide a comprehensive but easy-to-use system in line with legislative and statutory requirements.

In addition, customer relationship management software was implemented in alignment with the group's international standard, and full training was provided on all applications.

The solution is supported with a maintenance agreement, and ERP consultants and specialist sub-contractors were managed by SIS to ensure the full solution was provided through a single point of contact and responsibility.
