S1 Corporation has launched what it says is the first cross-product, multi-channel application allowing financial advisers and consumers to collaborate on wealth management activities.

The global provider of -based solutions to the financial services industry says the new application, S1 Wealth Management, integrates with the S1 Consumer suite and can be used with virtually any other Internet , brokerage or insurance application.

This is true whether the other applications are built in-house or by a third party.

S1 Corporation CEO Jaime Ellertson says the solution incorporates aggregated financial data into financial planning tools, enabling collaboration between advisers and clients and providing the capability to put financial planning into action by executing transactions in one application.

The package will enable financial institutions to forge stronger relationships with customers by allowing them to anticipate their needs and respond with highly targeted products and services that meet the customers' short- and long-term financial objectives.

"As many forward-thinking institutions look beyond Internet banking, they are searching for new ways to grow their businesses and enhance customer loyalty," says Ellertson.

"We believe true personalisation that leverages the enterprise is the answer. Our new wealth management application enables financial service providers to leverage their existing investments in human resources and technology to maximise the business opportunities that e-finance affords."
