Web interfaced event planning and production timetables have become a reality following the introduction to South Africa of Hyperion Planning by Global Technology Business Intelligence. Launched world wide in August, Hyperion Planning is the latest offering from the Hyperion stable, represented in South Africa by GBI.
"The market demanded a web based Essbase tool," says UK-based Sue Collins, Hyperion EMEA product marketing manager. The product has been engineered specifically for the web, allowing for firewalls but still maintaining full security.
