WebMail offering `a la carte Internet products

WebMail is offering an `a la carte ISP service in partnership with Fujitsu. In addition to a free Webmail service, Webmail is now offering a choice of optional services with flexible payment options.

The optional Internet services include:

* ISDN 64 and 128K, high-speed alternative to the normal telephone line, which is more efficient for connecting computers to the Internet.
* ADSL for super-fast connectivity, providing a permanent connection to the Internet.
* Award-winning Escan anti-virus for your PC, with subscription at extremely cost-effective prices.
* Preventon personal Firewall and Veto, to prevent intrusions, unauthorised software installations, and fights against Spyware, keystroke-logging software, Trojans and viruses.

Subscribers can pay monthly, quarterly or yearly by credit card or bank account.

The Internet service offers a dialup account, five separate e-mail addresses of 20Mb each, access to newsgroups on over 63 000 subjects, 10Mb webspace to create a Web site, unlimited Internet browsing 24 hours per day, countrywide dialup, technical and billing assistance from the Fujitsu Call Centre (082 234 3425).

WebMail is the largest free e-mail service provider in SA and has over 450 000 active subscribers and will look to leverage the ongoing 30 000 monthly sign ups with an ISP service.
