SecureData, a member of the JSE-listed ERP.com Group and a southern African distributor for Websense, today announced that the latter had been recognised by both Business 2.0 and BusinessWeek.
Firstly, Websense was named to Business 2.0 Magazine's 100 Fastest Growing Technology Companies list for the second consecutive year, ranking number 10 of the 100 companies selected. The magazine, published by the Fortune Group, reported that the winners were determined based on growth in revenue, profit and operating cash flow during the past three years, and 12-month stock return.
Secondly, Websense was also named to BusinessWeek's list of the "100 Best Small Companies - Hot Growth", ranking number 23 out of the 100 companies listed. According to the 6 June issue of BusinessWeek, "most of this year's top performers have hit on innovative ideas or tapped into economic trends that continue to fuel their growth". To win a position on this list, a company must excel in three ways: three-year results in sales growth, earnings growth and return on invested capital.
"We are delighted to be a partner of Websense and are very proud that they have been recognised by both these prestigious publications," commented Dean Brazier, MD of SecureData. "These latest accolades complement others awarded to Websense earlier this year by Forbes publication and also by Frost & Sullivan.
