E-business enabler WebSoft, the local distributor of the OmniAnalyser e-mail analysis and reporting tool, recently launched version 7.1 to the local market. The enhanced version is now available to new and existing users and provides automated reporting about corporate messaging systems and e-mail communication-pattern analysis.
"OmniAnalyser version 7.0 was launched to the local market about two months ago based on the local demand for a comprehensive e-mail analysis tool that could work on Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Domino and the Sendmail platforms," said WebSoft CEO Joao Frasco.
"Corporates found the tool to be thorough when it came to e-mail reporting and analysis. We believe version 7.1 can only add to this."
Web-based OmniAnalyser delivers complete traffic and content metrics for both Internet and internal mail within organisations of any size. The tool focuses on a number of key issues including capacity planning; mail delivery times and server availability for SLA; e-mail traffic and volume statistics; as well as control over information store usage.
With version 7.1 users can save scheduled reports as HTML or TEXT documents and send them to specified e-mail addresses.
"This means management can have a report on the top e-mail senders and recipients or server availability for the last month, week or even day, within there organisation," adds Frasco.
The new version also improves the overall speed when generating the various reports within the tool.
