NetXactics, the local distributor of WebSpy, e-mail and internet monitoring and management tools, have announced that WebSpy is raising the benchmark on internet monitoring solutions with the release next month of WebSpy Analyzer Giga, which is optimised for the enterprise market.
"Analyzer Giga, an historical analysis and reporting tool, complements the WebSpy product line by expanding the company`s target market beyond small to medium-sized businesses," says NetXactics CEO Brett Myroff. "While many enterprises were early adopters of blocking and filtering technology, they now want to move to more effective and sophisticated Internet management solutions."
Myroff explains that WebSpy has concentrated its efforts on the small to medium-sized business market over the past year and has enjoyed great successes and sales growth in this region. To further capitalise on the increased acknowledgment of the need for sophisticated monitoring technology, WebSpy Analyzer Giga has been developed to service clients at the larger end of the scale.
Analyzer Giga`s main strength, he says, lies in its ability to handle immense volumes of data. The scale of the data that can be analysed by Analyzer Giga is large enough to enable enterprise-sized companies to perform historical trend reporting on data spanning a number of years. The software also boasts greater management functionality, including dynamic data aliases, uniquely configured profiling and automated scheduling of management tasks.
"Despite the fact that WebSpy continues to enjoy successes in the small to medium-sized business market, Analyzer Giga has been a natural progression for the company as a result of the interest WebSpy has received from enterprise-sized corporations for a reporting tool with the capabilities of WebSpy," says Myroff. "By taking the reporting strengths of Analyzer and optimising these for the enterprise market, WebSpy is set to deliver an application that is without peer in the Internet reporting market."
These products complement WebSpy`s original WebSpy Analyzer product and its WebSpy Live real-time monitoring solution. Myroff says the Internet monitoring market, still far from mature, is expected to blossom into a worldwide annual billion-dollar industry by 2004.
