Westcon has announced the appointment of Shevaun Bradbury as its new channel manager for Citrix, in what the company says is a move to "bolster and add to its growing Citrix portfolio".
Bradbury joins Westcon from EOH subsidiary Smart Axess, where she worked as an account manager.
According to a Westcon statement, Bradbury's Citrix experience involves partner and vendor interaction, as well as long-term account management and development.
Andrew Potgieter, business unit director at Westcon Security Solutions, says Bradbury's experience was the main draw card for her appointment. "If Westcon is to stay ahead in the distribution industry, we need people on our teams who think innovatively and can implement thought processes strategically to strengthen our core business," he says.
Bradbury has previously worked with selling solutions in multiple international locations across platforms, including systems management, identity and security, server and desktop virtualisation, Web content management, Web analytics, enterprise search and application server technologies.
