Datatec`s global channel provider of networking technology products, Westcon Group, announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with Aladdin Knowledge Systems.
This is the largest national eSafe and eToken distribution agreement to date for Aladdin Systems, a Nasdaq-listed company.
Aladdin`s eSafe, a content security solution that provides corporate networks with proactive virus and vandal protection, and eToken, a USB-based user authentication device, are set to be offered through Westcon`s security solution providers and resellers nationwide. The distribution agreement allows immediate availability of all eSafe and eToken solutions.
Says Anthony Daley, general manager of Westcon: "In an age when threats like the Code Red worm and SirCam still crop up with frightening frequency, distributors must continue to seek out well-proven solutions that address these issues for the reseller. We have long since made a commitment to assemble a solid portfolio of security partners at Westcon. The addition of an industry force like Aladdin is an extension of that strategy whereby we continually evaluate, and provide our customers with, the networking solutions needed for a competitive-edge."
Says Yanki Margalit, CEO of Aladdin Knowledge Systems: "Aladdin is extremely pleased to begin offering its award-winning content security and authentication solutions through Westcon, a proven leader in providing effective corporate security solutions. By partnering with a sizable, nationally-recognised distributor such as Westcon, eSafe and eToken exposure increases significantly. Furthermore, the current number of resellers offering Aladdin`s security solutions in the US more than doubles."
