WestJet chooses GuestLogix
WestJet Airlines has chosen GuestLogix to supply onboard retail technology to the Canadian carrier, states Stockhouse.
The benefit to GuestLogix is that the deal adds potentially another 15 million passenger trips annually to the GuestLogix platform.
Operators pay for platform access on a per transaction fee basis. The system accepts all forms of payment, including cash (in multiple currencies), credit cards, loyalty cards, stored value cards, vouchers and coupon sales.
HP introduces retail solutions
HP today introduced its comprehensive range of scalable products and solutions for retail businesses, designed to help drive an enhanced customer experience at retail, according to PRWeb.
The portfolio is aimed at enabling retailers to enhance the overall customer experience by managing operations more efficiently and driving elevated service levels.
The new offerings include the HP rp3000 Point of Sale solution that integrates into any retailer's IT environment to help process sales transactions, and manage inventory.
Talbots selects ATG
Talbots has selected the ATG Commerce Suite to power the creation of two new personalised Web stores for both of its retail brands, Talbots and J Jill, reports Centre Daily.
Using the catalogue management and advanced search features built into ATG's e-commerce software, both sites will allow consumers to navigate quickly and efficiently through each brand's large inventory of apparel and accessories.
The marketing and merchandising teams at Talbots and J Jill will be able to personalise and prioritise the display of search results within each site to feature appropriate products for each shopper, as well as target specific promotions and offers to ensure only the most relevant content is presented to visitors of the new ATG-powered Web stores.
