WIMAN offers a point to multi-point Broadband Fixed Wireless Access solution

Cable One, a subsidiary within the Vega holding group, has successfully integrated the WIMAN System equipment within its . Cable One is a sister company to Libancell, a GSM operator in Lebanon. WIMAN is a PMP (point to multi-point) wireless solution offering load balancing and dynamic bandwidth allocation due to its unique frame relay through the air protocol offering.

WIMAN has previously supplied core technology to Airdata Holdings GMBh, based in Stuttgart, Germany. Airdata supplies wireless connectivity within the local loop in the MMDS - Multi Channel Multi Point Distribution System 2.5GHz to 2.7GHz spectrum for and data services. WIMAN technology shares spectrum with UMTS in Germany, that raised 100 billion DM in August 2000 through an eventful auction process.
