Wine Concepts has launched its Web site on iafrica.com, bringing e-shoppers one more opportunity to indulge in SA`s finest viticulture online.
Since the soft launch of the site, 32 sales totalling more than R14 000 were made in 14 days. The majority of sales, 55, came from the Gauteng region, while 25 came from the Western Cape and 8 from the KwaZulu-Natal area. The site has also received some international enquiries from countries such as the Netherlands, USA, UK, Canada and Germany.
The site is currently being updated and was officially launched on 1 December 1999 in Cape Town. Top clients include Standard Bank, Engen`s Nkaya Game Lodge, and The Blue Train.
