Computer Associates International (CA) has released a beta version of its Site Management (WSM) solution, which addresses the vulnerability and complexity challenges of wireless technology. It is designed to and secure enterprise-wide wireless local area networks (WLANs).

The WSM solution provides rogue user blocking, automatic encryption key management, access point load balancing, and reporting for enterprise Wi-Fi networks.

In addition, WSM offers location and time-based access control, which enables IT administrators to visualise their WLAN site on a location-aware map and define the physical areas in which the company`s wireless network can and cannot be used.

The WSM`s access control feature helps eliminate unauthorised access to the network and prevents employees from accessing the network from unapproved locations. Access can also be restricted to certain times of the day.
