Wireless technology to conduct real-time warehouse stocktaking control and direct transfer of stock data to the back office accounting system for integration with ERP business software solutions is a huge growth area.

"Similar applications, as well as shipment collection, roller cage tracking and location enquiry, delivery and positioning provide a solution that will considerably improve warehouse and transportation management, control and efficiency. In manufacturing there are applications in production control, storage management of materials, manufactured goods and work in process, work time control and reporting, quality control, access control and traceability."
All of the data obtained by the handheld devices can be transferred into the ERP business system database in real-time and can be accessed and included in financial, business and management reports generated by the ERP business software solution. There are also applications in the hotel industry, motor vehicle inspection and parts manufacturing, tourism, retail pharmacy and professional stock-takers who provide services to a growing number of organisations that outsource their stocktaking functions.
