The U123 Series is light and compact, suitable for an A4-sized bag; its stylish appearance will definitely be favoured by young professional office workers. This product utilises the latest Atom platform from Intel and basic HDD capacity has been upgraded to 160GB. Other specifications include 2GB of DRAM, a 10-inch display and Windows compatibility.
For mobile business applications, the U123 Series has also been fitted with an 802.11b/g/n WiFi and 3.5G mobile network cards, as well as a Bluetooth transmission interface (U123H model only). Additionally, the integrated TV tuner allows you to watch and record TV programmes right on your U123T; simply connect the antenna and you'll never have to miss an episode of your favourite TV programme again!
U123 Series uses a 16:10 ratio of 10-inch wide LCD display as opposed to the typical smaller sizes, to provide better comfort while viewing or reading. In addition, the 1024x 600 resolution can relieve concerns of the full display of WebPages while browsing, giving you the freedom when exploring the Internet.
U123 series is embedded with LED power-saving backlight technology for providing better colour fullness and brightness to elevate the total quality of imagery. Furthermore, the lower usage of power offers a longer operating time.
The frame is approximately 26cm in length and 18cm in width, and only 33mm in thickness, making it extremely thin. The total weight with the battery is less than 1kg, making the U123 Series ideal for people on the go.
Through the embedded Webcam of the U123 Series, the Easy Face Manager function can scan the face of the user and record reorganisation through eyes, cheekbones, jaw line, and nose. The user can adjust the level for personal security identification. (One user ID can store up to 10 facial images).
Furthermore, the power setting of the Easy Face Manager can adjust the standby time. With this feature, the U123 Series can save power by switching off when it hasn't been operated in the set time. According to the Easy Face Manager Face Identification, you can access the U123 series by entering the user's ID or password operating through Easy Face Logon. When the user is away from the U123 screen for a period of time, the Easy Face AutoLocker will detect this and secure the system; this will prevent others from accessing the content of the user. The user has to go through the Easy Face Logon feature to access U123 again. The keyboard of U123 Series not only has a great texture, it also increases the space between the keys to 17.5mm providing comfort. Furthermore, with the ingeniously designed spacebar and touchpad, your fingers can move smoothly to avoid strain.
Unlike other machines that have compromised the storage capacity to decrease in size, U123 Series is equipped with the 2.5-inch standard hard drive: 80/120/160 GB.It can operate just like regular notebooks without worrying about limited storage capacity, to save the greatest moments in life.
Equipped with high-resolution Webcam, high-performance 2 channel stereo speakers and microphone, U123 series has all of this fitted perfectly within this professional ID design, expressing the high-technology and elegant modern fashion. Additionally, the U123 series focus on the common products in the market is to make your life easier, therefore you may connect your peripherals such as PDAs, digital cameras, digital video cameras, digital MP3 players, global GPS systems etc, to U123 through USB 2.0 Port. An external DVD burner may be added (optional) to play and burn important files at will.
