Gestetner has launched the P7032 network laser printer targeted at the workgroup market.
It delivers 32 page per minute (ppm) print speeds and incorporates a 250MHz processor. It has high capacity paper storage of 3 100 sheets and can take either an optional 1 000 or 500 sheet finisher option
"One of the key features of the new laser is that it comes network-ready. It also comes complete with the Aficio Manager suite of network printing management applications for trouble-free installation, monitoring and management of your networked devices," says Michael Stanley, marketing manager at Gestetner SA.
With the P7032`s A3-printing capability, 600 x 600dpi resolution plus duplexing and finishing options, it is simple to make impressive finished documents straight from your PC.
Aficio Manager software allows users to install, monitor and manage Aficio peripherals on the network. Aficio Manager for Administrator simplifies network installation and provides status feedback for printer management, while Aficio Manager for Client is a utility that allows users to monitor the network printers they use.
PCL6 and Adobe PostScript 3 support are all standard on the P7032. With the optional hard disk drive, innovative features like sample printing and collation are also available from your desktop.
