Xerox, distributed throughout sub-Saharan Africa by Bytes Document Solutions, has rolled out four new products to extend its desktop colour printer and multifunction product (MFP) range.
Xerox's colour line-up includes one new desktop multifunction system and three new colour printers, one of which is the fastest A4-size colour laser printer in the market.
The printers and multifunction products print from 5ppm colour to 42ppm in black and white. Xerox is also complementing its office portfolio with wireless networking capabilities for its printers and MFPs.
"Businesses everywhere want affordable colour printing because colour has a high impact on response rates. Simply put, colour delivers results," says Ernest Leong, Xerox product manager for office printer portfolio at Bytes Document Solutions. "These new products, which provide Xerox quality at the prices and speeds customers want, are part of Xerox's strategy to offer the best alternatives for business customers of any size."
* The Xerox Phaser 6360, with speeds of up to 42ppm in colour and black and white, is the world's fastest A4-size colour laser printer. Equipped with a 1GHz processor to handle multiple complex print jobs, it delivers first-page-out in nine seconds. Networking is standard on all configurations, and a software tool allows administrators to identify who is using the printer. PrintingScout software notifies a user at the desktop if a print job fails. The Phaser 6360 comes with PhaserSMART, an online troubleshooting tool. It also supports CentreWare Web desktop management software, which allows IT administrators or office workers to remotely clone, configure and manage a fleet of systems.
* The Xerox Phaser 8560 colour printer features the consistent and vivid colours from Xerox's patented solid ink technology. It is cartridge-free, meaning no mess and less waste. It prints up to 30ppm with a first-page-out time of five seconds. The Phaser 8560 includes PrintingScout and PhaserSMART and supports CentreWare Web.
* The Xerox Phaser 6110MFP, a desktop that prints, copies, scans and faxes, brings advanced features and high quality colour to businesses. It prints up to 4ppm in colour, 16ppm in monochrome and offers 2 400dpi print quality. It features Pantone colour approval and ID Card Copy, which makes it easy to copy both sides of a document onto a single sheet of paper. The Phaser 6110MFP comes equipped with CentreWare Internet Services software, which allows people to remotely manage the device.
* The Xerox Phaser 6180 colour laser printer prints up to 20ppm in colour and 25ppm in black and white. With Xerox's Emulsion Aggregate High Gloss toner, it delivers vivid 600x600x4dpi colour output, continuous tone and Pantone-certified accurate colours. The Phaser 6180 is easy to install, easy to maintain and includes PrintingScout software.
