Xerox is the leader in document process outsourcing (DPO), according to the 2009 Black Book of Outsourcing, an annual guide that evaluates the costs and benefits of outsourcing.
Compiled by Brown-Wilson Group, Black Book produces a yearly ranking of outsourcing companies based on survey responses from more than 24 000 executives worldwide.
Documents, both digital and paper, touch every corner of an organisation regardless of size, industry or locale. Xerox Global Services helps companies gain control of the volume of documents flowing through the business - and the costs associated with printing, sharing and updating them - which can be a swift way to impact the bottom line.
“The survey results demonstrate that Xerox is delivering comprehensive, integrated document management solutions that meet or exceed client expectations around the world,” says Scott Wilson, partner, Brown-Wilson Group and co-author of the Black Book of Outsourcing guide.
“Xerox has proven again that it is number one by beating all competitors in the market,” says Rabin Ram, divisional director for Xerox Global Services at Bytes Document Solutions, authorised distributor of Xerox products and solutions to 24 African countries. “Our close alliance with Xerox ensures that local customers get the same quality of service that is available around the globe, and it is one of the most significant reasons behind the brand's success in Africa.
“Outsourcing has become critical to many organisations in this down economy and those partnerships that demonstrate the best and quickest returns have the highest chance of board approval. Being number one in our space means that we expect the current positive trend to continue in our Global Services division that substantially underpinned our revenue in excess of R1.8 billion in the last financial year.”
Brown-Wilson Group conducts an independent and unbiased annual user survey to evaluate leading global outsourcing service providers and advisors across 31 management criteria and 18 key performance indicators based on client experience.
