DocuColor 2006 also offers versatility and effortless operation

Xerox is bringing extraordinary colour, exceptional versatility and effortless operation to graphics- and colour-intensive workgroups with the Xerox DocuColor 2006 A4/ A3 Printer/Copier. The DocuColor 2006 is the latest in a line of products demonstrating Xerox`s leadership in colour products and solutions.

The DocuColor 2006 boasts six pages per minute/copies per minute in colour and 26 ppm/cpm in black-and-white.

Brilliant image quality is achieved through 8-bit colour depth for higher image quality over a broader range of colours. Colour professionals will find immense benefits from the independent handling of RGB, CMYK and Pantone(r) files for professional quality output. The DocuColor 2006 delivers excellent colour management tools that support the ICC and ICM colour standards.

The DocuColor 2006 also has extensive calibration features such as automatic density control, and VisualCal for visual calibration. Additionally, the DocuColor 2006 has a new toner formulation and fusing process that delivers sharper images and superior detail on copies and prints.

The multifaceted DocuColor 2006 meets the printing and copying demands of high-performance graphics users and colour intensive office workgroups with exceptional media handling of page sizes up to A3 oversize and two-sided printing on the higher configuration. Document Set printing allows the DocuColor 2006 to process multiple prints only once, dramatically decreasing the time needed to print large volumes.

In addition, the DocuColor 2006 has an input capacity of 1400 sheets standard and a 10- bin sorter/stacker, allowing for uninterrupted completion of short-run projects, as well as PDF direct printing, letting users print directly to the printer without opening the document.

Users will be impressed by the effortless operation of the DocuColor 2006, which comes equipped with copying features that are easy to control and allow the user to select paper size and copying options right from the front panel. In addition, with an easy-to-use Automatic Document Feeder that instantly senses document size and the ability to produce up to 99 copies per job, the DocuColor 2006 allows graphics professionals more efficient use of their time.

With memory expandable to 512MB, a built-in 6GB hard drive and a powerful 266MHz processor, the DocuColor 2006 is network ready with standard 10/100 Base-T Ethernet, parallel connectivity and superior web-based network management tools.
