Xerox speaks colour language
Xerox scientists are working on a new technology to make adjusting colours in a document as easy as merely describing the colour, reports ITNews Online.
The company says users can type: "make the sky a deeper blue", or give a voice command: "make the background carnation pink" and the software does all the work for them.
Still in research stages, this new technology creates 'colour language' by translating descriptions of various colours into the precise numerical codes that machines use to print colour documents.

Epson releases piezo element
Epson has unveiled a thin-film piezo element that it says offers the world's highest degree of distortion, according to Hindu.com.
The company says by installing these next-generation micro piezo print heads in printers and other devices, it will be possible to design speedier and more compact inkjet equipment than before.
"We hope to see the benefit of the new inkjet print head in printers available in India sometime in the near future," said Tushad Talati, deputy GM and head of brand and communication at Epson India.
