Bytes Document Solutions, sole distributor of Xerox products in southern Africa, has launched the multifunctional WorkCentre M24, which consolidates the tasks of copying, printing, scanning and soon to send e-mails.
The WorkCentre M24 is aimed at small workgroups and offers an easy to manage, cost-effective single device that allows for uncomplicated transformation of hard copy documents into easy-to-use electronic format files.
"The WorkCentre M24 is designed to deliver professional quality colour documents required in today`s competitive environment," says Amanda Kelly, colour product manager, Bytes Document Solutions.
With print speeds of 13 pages-per-minute (ppm) in colour and 24ppm in black-and-white, the WorkCentre M24 is placed among the fastest printers in its class. "The WorkCentre M24 allows users to perform different tasks swiftly and simultaneously and boasts a first page out time of 10.4 seconds for colour and 4.7 seconds for black-and-white prints," adds Kelly.
Additionally, the WorkCentre M24 offers sharp image quality and fine line text that allows users to select the desired resolution and colour.
The WorkCentre M24 uses a patented, environmentally friendly Emulsion Aggregate toner that standardises the size and shape of toner particles, resulting in uniform printing.
Concludes Kelly: "The WorkCentre M24 saves users time with an `always on` feature that decreases the device`s warm up time and also handles a broad range of media types and sizes, from card stack and labels to envelopes, business cards and CD/DVD labels."
The WorkCentre M24 is currently available in SA. Sales, service and leasing options are offered through authorised Xerox resellers and concessionaires.
