Xpress chooses VeCommerce

Xpress Bill Pay has chosen VeCommerce to provide voice processing to complement its comprehensive online payment capability, reports Market Watch.

Offering voice self-service solutions, VeCommerce applications are deployed within a PCI level one-compliant environment, providing the security and privacy necessary to process credit card and cheque payments by telephone.

Xpress Bill Pay's Web-based online payment system meets all security compliance requirements so all transactions use the same security technology as leading online banking and financial institutions.

Self-service pays

The HR Group, a human resource consulting group, has signed a channel agreement with Louisville, US-based People Strategy, states Carolina Newswire.

People Strategy offers a hosted, self-service, workflow-driven HR enterprise and platform that streamlines administrative tasks, promotes employment compliance and risk management, and strengthens workforce productivity.

According to Aberdeen, Cedar and Towers Perrin Reports, 45% of North American companies have transformed their labour intensive, paper-based, HR administrative activities to self-service and are enjoying a cost-per-HR-transaction reduction of 52%.

ATM appliance model unveiled

TEKchand, a supplier of server-side, Web-based software applications for ATM management, has unveiled ATMContentPro, a new ATM appliance model for content-management on ATMs and self-service kiosks, says Kiosk Marketplace.

The appliance model provides an all-in-one solution for remote management of screen and receipt marketing on ATMs and kiosks from multiple vendors, and is the first in a series of appliance-based products specifically designed for ATM deployers with fewer than 50 terminals.

The appliance model means that support for the entire solution - hardware, software and application - is consolidated within a single company for simplified maintenance, TEKchand says.
