Australian interactive media company, Yeahpoint, has opened an office in Johannesburg.

According to John Anderson, CEO of Yeahpoint, the company has become one of the fastest growing producers of custom designed self-service solutions, with offices in Australia, New Zealand, Asia and now South Africa. The company provides a full service from design and installation to content management and other services for consumers and staff self-service solutions.

Says Anderson: “We have defied the current global recession and shown a 200% growth over the last four years, with figures due to top the 300% mark for this year.” He believes the company will expand rapidly in South Africa and will soon conquer both the European and US markets as well.

Anderson says much of this is due to it offering a product that has a tangible ROI model, with some clients reporting increases of up to 600% in growth.

“The development of our YeahWare platform has been the key to our success, which offers high interactivity, flexibility and speed to market. With support from the Australian government and Microsoft, we were able to build such a platform,” says Anderson.

In January, Yeahpoint unveiled its YeahWare v6.0, which now has added consumer/staff intelligence and connectivity functions. It “makes our platform one of the most innovative available globally”, Anderson says.

Malcolm Anderson will head up the Johannesburg offices.
