Zebra Technologies Corporation, a global leader in on-demand printing solutions for business improvement, has signed an agreement with PartServe Channel Support to carry out product warranties throughout South Africa.
Increased channel demand and the 23% growth in its business in South Africa have prompted Zebra to establish a centralised warranty solution with a leading solutions partner. This is a new programme in South Africa and had to be customised to local conditions. In the agreement, PartServe will provide complete warranty management.
"We required a warranty service provider operating in conjunction with Zebra to develop the programme. PartServe was an obvious choice and at present is the only independent Zebra authorised service provider in South Africa," commented Debbie Hunter, SA channel account manager, Zebra Technologies.
PartServe Channel Support director Lee Bowes commented: "PartServe is fast becoming the preferred provider of warranty management services in southern Africa. This agreement enables PartServe to offer a carry-in warranty on all Zebra products nationwide, including Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth and Bloemfontein. As the programme develops we expect several new services to be added to the current warranty programme."
In addition to the warranty programme, PartServe will be stocking and distributing all spare parts for Zebra label printers to its channel.
