ZTE enhances mobile gaming experience by choosing EA Mobile's Real Racing 3 for millions of customers

ZTE Corporation (ZTE), a leading mobile handsets maker, and Electronic Arts (EA), a leading entertainment software company, today announced an innovative partnership to bring the best mobile gaming experience to ZTE's smartphone users.

"We're excited to extend our collaboration with ZTE," said Glenn Roland, Vice-President of New Platforms and OEMs at EA. "More than 285 million registered users worldwide already play our games. This partnership will accelerate our ability to provide more users with a high-quality mobile gaming experience via ZTE handsets."

Consumers enjoy playing games on their mobile devices. Based on third-party analysis, US consumers spend an average of two hours and 38 minutes per day on smartphones and tablets. Thirty-two percent of that time is spent playing games.

"We want to deliver the best mobile game experience by partnering with the best mobile game publishers and developers," said George Hou, VP of ZTE Handsets Division. "Consumers know and love EA games and we believe that pre-loading EA games will give consumers the confidence to purchase ZTE devices and enhance their experience with ZTE smartphones."

ZTE is one of the top five mobile handset and smartphone manufacturers in the world, according to global industry analyst IDC. "ZTE's objective is to reach a global top-three position within three years, and build a world top-five brand," Hou said.
