After only one month of Zultys signing a distribution agreement with Core Networks, based in Roodeport, two South African resellers have received full accreditation from Zultys to sell and implement its award-winning voice over IP (VOIP) enterprise solutions.
Teams from Default Computer Systems, based in Pretoria, and PHASE1, based in Midrand, enjoyed a week of intensive technical training at Zultys` offices in the UK. Both have completed the requirements necessary to become certified Zultys resellers. The most advanced yet easy to use and administer VOIP systems are now a practical proposition for South African business.
"PHASE1 is a service-driven company and we expect correspondingly high standards of customer service from our partners," says Johan Opperman, Director, PHASE1. "We were impressed by the sheer professionalism shown by Zultys during the training - as well as the attention to users` needs in the design of their products, the emphasis on ease of use, reliability and low maintenance. South African business need no longer be handicapped on the world stage by outdated telephone systems - and PHASE1 is proud to be in at the start of the revolution."
Herman Greyling, CEO of Default Computer Systems, agrees. "Research and development within our company is a high priority to ensure we always offer state of the art technology. We include the Zultys range of products in our offering as it is so well integrated to provide our customers with a world-class telephony system in one product - thus reducing not just the initial cost of the system, but also the incidental costs of implementing and running a large VOIP system."
Products now available in South Africa include the Zultys award-winning family of MX systems, the world`s first fully integrated IP PBXs based on open standards and scalable from five to 10 000 users. The Zultys IP phone range offers an unmatched array of features and prices from the basic business phone to the highly integrated remote office phone, as well as the latest WiFi handset - all operating on open standards. Zultys also provide a range of peripherals including gateways, battery power supplies and Power over Ethernet switches. These products have been recognised by industry experts the world over as being the most innovative in the field and offering tremendous value for businesses of all sizes.
"South African business will be well served by Default Computer Systems and PHASE1," adds Justine Cross, Zultys` Director of Business Development for EMEA. "We were impressed by their enthusiasm for VOIP technology and commitment to delivering and supporting real solutions for their clients. There is clearly a demand for better voice systems in South Africa, so much so that we are planning to hold further reseller workshops in conjunction with Core Networks in South Africa later this year."
