Philips to launch new call centre

Philips Business Communications says is to launch SOPHO ContactCentre 400 Series, a line of products aimed specifically at the call centre market. The technology is based on Windows NT and fully compatible with a broad range of third party solutions for vertical markets.

Oracle announces comprehensive Call Center suite

Oracle announced the addition of the Oracle Call Center suite to its Front Office applications. Oracle said this addition makes it the first major vendor to offer tightly integrated front office and back office applications. The Call Center suite features Oracle Telephony Server, which provides telephone access to all information contained in Oracle applications for inbound or outbound calling applications.
