Hotel Verde Zanzibar, also known as Zanzibar's greenest hotel, has appointed AWCape to supply, implement and support Sage 300 ERP (previously known as Accpac). With a number of blue chip clients already being supported in West Africa, the Hotel Verde Zanzibar is AWCape's first entry into the East African region.
Hotel Verde Zanzibar has taken sustainable development to new heights in East Africa and not only is the building sustainable, but green principles, processes and measures ensure all operations are eco-friendly and continually assessed for improvement.
Partnering with AWCape who offers a wide range of business efficiency solutions was a natural choice for Hotel Verde Zanzibar, and AWCape's existing African footprint made it the logical choice in terms of training and support services.
AWCape is also supporting Verde Hotel Cape Town's Sage 300 (Accpac) installation, and this experience has provided confidence in the robustness and reliability experienced with Sage 300 and AWCape. Maresa Pretorius, CFO for Verde Hotels, stated "the modernisation of the old ACCPAC has been very successful, and the introduction of the Web browser-based version, together with the stability that we experienced over the past years, has proven to us that Sage 300 has reached a level of maturity that is of great importance when venturing into Africa"
