Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2015 makes changes, mobility easier

Johannesburg, 08 Oct 2014

While keeping the underlying architecture the same, the 2015 version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV, available now (October 2014), significantly enhances user experience through additional mobile device support, further integration with Office 365, new links to Power BI, and the ability to design reports within Microsoft Word.

Wishlist co-founder and managing director Neville Levinthal explains several earlier rounds of fundamental technology changes to Microsoft Dynamics NAV have ensured the solution can take organisations comfortably forward in a marketplace that demands agility and relevance at the same time. "Version 2015 simply keeps functionality at the leading edge.

"For instance, Microsoft's commitment to supporting mobility on industry-standard platforms, as demonstrated in the most recent Dynamics CRM release, has been extended to Dynamics NAV with support for iOS, Android, and Windows tablets - providing a common user experience across all devices.

"Also, Microsoft has continued improvements to its Web browser clients, as initially released in version 2013 and enhanced in 2013 R2."

In addition, Dynamics NAV 2013's major new upgrades to the integration to Office 365 have been augmented in version 2015, allowing users to design their reports within Microsoft Word. The new integration to Power BI enables organisations to do without third party tools.

Dynamics NAV 2015 is quicker to implement than its predecessors, is much easier to use, and is designed to enable small and medium-sized businesses to meet their objectives.
