BetTech Gaming, a provider of turnkey gaming solutions, has been chosen by Goldrush Gaming Group to unveil an online sportsbook - GBets.co.za.

G-Bets offers members a wide range of pre-match and in-play wagering opportunities from domestic and international sporting events, including all South African and European horse racing fixtures, to online and mobile punters.

The new betting brand is being promoted by an extensive media campaign in SA, with G-Bets adverts running online and across a selection of the country's TV stations and daily newspapers.

Goldrush's move into SA's sports betting market comes after almost 20 years as a land-based operator of bingo and casino venues in the country.

"This agreement with the Goldrush Gaming Group helps confirm BetTech's strong position as supplier to the African market," says BetTech Gaming co-founder and chief commercial officer, Mark Bosman. "With an established name and loyal customer base behind it, G-Bets is certain to be a popular destination with South African sports bettors."

Mergan Naidoo, CFO at Goldrush Group, says: "The sports betting market in South Africa is already massive. It is developing by the day and we recognise that it has huge potential for future growth. By launching G-Bets we are able to boost our product offering into online sports betting and provide our players with the opportunity to interact with our brand at any time - and at their convenience."
