In his role, Bowes will be responsible for oversight of the Westcon business unit portfolios, including Collaboration and Networking, Cyber Security and Microsoft solutions, and identifying collaborative opportunities across vendor technologies. This includes driving unique solution and value-led services and product offerings that will provide the Westcon channel with a strategic advantage in addressing opportunities for the South Africa and SADC territories.

"Westcon is in an excellent position in that we promote, support and sell technology solutions that are often number one in their field. They are technologies that are answering the need for digital transformation, software as a service, security reform and collaboration, among modern businesses today. With my exceptional team, winning mix of vendors, skilled partner channel, as well as the innovative digital tools that Westcon-Comstor has developed to support customers, I am looking forward to helping drive revenues and create opportunities for businesses in a world that is now more than ever demanding innovation from the technology organisations use,” states Bowes.
