MCI Consultants supports Santa Shoebox Project

Johannesburg, 05 Dec 2018

Each year, the Santa Shoebox Project collects and distributes gifts for underprivileged children throughout South Africa and Namibia.

The Santa Shoebox Project originated in Cape Town and has grown in leaps and bounds, with the number of Santa Shoeboxes growing from a humble 180 boxes in 2006 to 858 673 boxes in the last 13 years. The boxes are distributed to more than 1 000 recipient facilities, through more than 60 satellites around South Africa and Namibia.

MCI has been a proud donor to the Santa Shoebox Project for the past five years. "This year, we were able to sponsor an entire facility, which also meant we could take part in the celebration and handover of our gifts to the children directly," commented Gabbi De Brito, Marketing Manager at MCI. "It was a truly heartwarming experience and we feel very fortunate that we are able to contribute to this wonderful cause."

We have captured some of those wonderful moments on camera, which you can view here.
