Mint was once again a proud Gold sponsor at the Johannesburg leg of SharePoint Saturday, a one-day event held in different cities around the world, featuring sessions from influential and respected SharePoint professionals.
Providing local SharePoint professionals with excellent training
The aim of SharePoint Saturday is to provide local SharePoint professionals and users with excellent training and networking opportunities as well as encourage increased membership for the local user group.
The event was held at Microsoft's offices in Bryanston with ECM Director, Francois Pienaar and SharePoint Consultant, Andrew Thornton-Smith both presenting. Twitter was abuzz after Pienaar's session entitled, "My boss bought O365, now what?". Jonty Collins from AvePoint tweeted, "@fhpienaar makes O365 and Power BI look very easy. Few people are as passionate about what he does as the real @fhpienaar! Really understands O365."
Event App
Mint created the event app for the Johannesburg event as well as a mobi-site for delegates to easily navigate through sessions. The well-executed Johannesburg event served as a precursor to the Cape Town and Durban events and provided Mint with a great opportunity to engage with the SharePoint community.
Life is sweet with O365
Mint treated delegates to a "Life is sweet with O365" candy bar and had the full ECM team on hand to answer any questions around SharePoint.
SharePoint Saturday has become an annual event on the Mint social calendar and it looks forward to being a part of the 2016 SharePoint Saturday experience.
