Vodafone offers secure e-bill

Vodafone Malta is offering a free secure e-billing service, says Independent Online.

Postpaid Vodafone customers can now choose to receive their bill by e-mail every month instead of receiving a paper bill.

Vodafone will send an e-mail containing a secure link directing customers to their bill in PDF format.

Varsity gets e-billing

Students will now find it easier to make payments for classes, thanks to eBilling, a new online payment system, says The Rebel Yell.

Following the lead of several other universities, the University of Nevada has created eBilling to allow students access to their billing information in a more timely fashion.

According to the bursar's office, the new system will be implemented to help the institution with "time and monetary savings".

Sterling offers e-Invoice Gateway

AT&T subsidiary Sterling Commerce has unveiled its e-Invoice Gateway, a software tool built to enable electronic invoicing for companies doing business across borders, says Managing Automation.

The e-Invoice Gateway aims to tap what Sterling Commerce hopes is a growing market -multinational companies abandoning their paper-based invoicing systems in favour of electronic billing.

Legislation passed by the European Union in 2004 has been the fulcrum for that transition, according to Chris Hayes, senior product marketing manager at Sterling Commerce.
