Meet the Sage Enterprise team at IDC CIO Summit South Africa
Sage, the market leader in cloud business management solutions, will be an exhibitor at the IDC CIO Summit 2018 South Africa, as part of its commitment to reaching out to local customers and supporting its business partner network. Two Sage business partners - Argon Business Solutions and Parity Software - are among the sponsors at the summit this year.
"The South Africa CIO Summit 2018 is a great opportunity for us to meet with some of South Africa's leading CIOs and talk to them about our vision for enterprise management in the cloud," says Matthew Kibby, Vice-President, Enterprise Africa & Middle East at Sage.
"As the fourth industrial revolution continues to take hold, we're committed to delivering solutions to help businesses of all sizes drive productivity, collaboration and better decision-making. Key to achieving this is by partnering with the right solution providers, like Argon and Parity, who can support business agility and automation in a time of massive disruption."
He adds: "Each year, the IDC CIO Summit focuses on the challenges that South African CIOs face in an age of widespread, technology-driven disruption. They are under enormous pressure to help their organisations innovate and drive digital transformation, but at the same time their budgets are under pressure, and simply keeping the lights on can be challenging.
"CIOs must ensure that they have a robust and flexible enterprise architecture and business software management backbone in place to support modern ways of working as well as new technologies like blockchain, artificial intelligence and the Internet of things. Our role in this transition is to provide the foundational business software that can help CIOs do business at the speed of now - enabling them to respond with agility to a fast-changing landscape."
Mark Walker, Associate Vice President, IDC, echoes these sentiments: "The consumerisation of applications, together with the more mainstream usage of cloud solutions and the uptake of cloud computing and platform virtualisation software and services, is driving more business managers, especially across professional services, retail, and personal and consumer services, to fund software spending. Applications to share content, access information, or boost collaboration will drive the growth of investments in 2018."
The Sage stand at the summit will showcase the Sage Business Cloud - a powerful set of cloud products ranging from small business accounting and advanced financial management to industry-specific enterprise management software. Sage experts will be available to talk to summit delegates about how Sage software and services can help them to drive successful digital transformation in their business.
